Additional Environmental Data
During an October 8, 2008 telephone conference call, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) staff requested certain additional data for preparation of the Environmental Assessment for Alabama Power Company's Coosa River Projects (FERC No. 2146-111). The FERC staff indicated that Alabama Power should file any additional environmental data collected since the July 27, 2005 filing of the Final License Application. Below are links to the additional environmental data collected at the Weiss Bypass, Neely Henry tailrace, Logan Martin tailrace, Lay tailrace, Mitchell tailrace, data collected at the Jordan project as part of the drought impacts, and a copy of the Draft Alabama Drought Operations Plan (ADROP). Also included are sampling plans and maps of the areas sampled. The contents of the ADROP are still being developed with the appropriate state and federal agencies. Alabama Power will provide the FERC staff with an update once that plan is finalized.
