Study Plans

Study plans are efforts undertaken by the hydro owner to collect additional information on how the hydro project affects the surrounding environment. Issues must have a nexus to the project and sometimes include topics such as threatened and endangered species, water quality, erosion, and recreational use conflicts. Stakeholders that wish to request a study must follow the Study Criteria. APC is required to file a study plan with FERC for approval and upon approval, implement the studies.
