Study Plans
Study plans are efforts undertaken by the hydro owner to collect additional information on how the hydro project affects the surrounding environment. Issues must have a nexus to the project and sometimes include topics such as threatened and endangered species, water quality, erosion, and recreational use conflicts. Stakeholders that wish to request a study must follow the Study Criteria. APC is required to file a study plan with FERC for approval and upon approval, implement the studies.
- Calendar - APC will host a number of events/meetings associated with the Relicensing process for the Martin Project. The calendar is updated monthly so check often for changes to the calendar.
- " PAD Library - In association with developing the PAD, APC has developed a "PAD Library" that contains all documents that are referenced in the PAD. Some of the references are protected by copyright and are only available for viewing at Alabama Power's headquarters at 600 North 18th Street, Birmingham, AL. Documents in the public domain are posted here in PDF and available for download. For further information, please e-mail Jim Crew or call 205-257-4265.
