Butterscotch Cheesecake Bars

  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch flavored morsels
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 can Eagle Brand® sweetened condensed milk*
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 t. vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 325º. In medium saucepan, melt morsels and margarine; stir in crumbs and nuts. Press half of the mixture firmly into bottom of greased 13" x 9" baking pan. In large mixer bowl beat cream cheese until fluffy; beat in sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and egg. Mix well. Pour into prepared pan, top with remaining crumb mixture. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool to room temperature. Chill before cutting into bars.
