Chicken breasts with honey wine sauce

  • 1 c. red wine
  • 1 T. soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 4 chicken breasts, cut into pieces
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 T. cooking oil

Mix wine, soy sauce and garlic powder in bowl. Add chicken and marinate 1 hour. Drain chicken, saving liquid. In shallow dish mix flour, pepper and salt. Dip chicken pieces in flour mixture. Heat oil to medium temperature and add chicken, cooking until brown on both sides. Add honey to marinade and pour over chicken. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
