Mystery Pecan Pie

  • 1 deep dish pie shell,
    9-inch
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 8 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Combine cream cheese, 1 egg, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, and salt. Blend at meidum speed. Pour into shell and sprinkle pecans on top.
Combine 3 eggs, corn syrup, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1 tsp. vanilla. Blend at medium speed. Pour this mixture on top of pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
