Alabama Power Thursday released the company’s first corporate sustainability report, detailing the company’s efforts to meet the needs of its customers, employees and communities to create a more prosperous Alabama.
The report focuses on the pillars of sustainability: People, Environment, Social Responsibility, Governance and Innovation.
“Sustainability has been a part of Alabama Power’s culture and operations since our founding and this report details how we have integrated these principles into our forward-looking business strategy on behalf of the customers and communities we serve,” said Stephanie Cooper, Alabama Power vice president of Corporate Sustainability. “Issuing this report allows us to communicate our sustainability efforts to directly reach our customers and stakeholders alike.”
