Rebates for Businesses

See below for the rebates eligible businesses may receive for installing electric cooking. Eligible businesses include restaurants, hospitals, universities, local government, nursing homes, hotels and convenience stores. Note that education-related businesses are eligible for different per-kW rebates. 

Equipment Rebate Requirements
Fryer $1,000 per unit Min. 10 kW
Ovens (half) $500 per unit Min. 5 kW
Ovens (full) $1,000 per unit Min. 10 kW
Griddles $1,000 per unit Min. 4 kW
Broilers $700 per unit Min. 5 kW
Other $40 per kW Min. 5 kW
Wiring Assistance $15 per kW Conversions only



Rebates for Education (K-12 schools)

The following rebates are specifically for education-related businesses.

Conversions $5 per kW

Equipment Requirements

  • Equipment must be a new addition or replacement of existing gas equipment.
  • “Other” equipment includes Rethermalizers, Slow Cook and Hold Ovens/Smokers, Steam Tables, Braising Pans, Tilting Skillets, Salamanders,  Conveyer Toasters, Grills, Steamers, Steam Kettles, Cheese Melters, Ranges, Cook Tops, Induction Cook Tops and Hot Plates.
