Report A Streetlight Outage

How to Report a Streetlight Outage

Keeping our communities safe and well-lit is important to us. If you notice a streetlight that’s out, flickering, or damaged, you can easily report it online. We’ll send a team to inspect and repair the light as quickly and safely as possible.

  1. Locate the streetlight. Note the street name, nearby landmarks, and the pole number if available.
  2. Visit our online Streetlight Outage Map. Search for the light on the map or enter the nearest address to find the exact location.
        a.      If the light exists on the map, click it, then click “Report Street Light Issue”.
        b.      If the light doesn’t exist on the map, right-click, or long-press via a mobile device, then click “Report Missing Streetlight Issue”.
  3. Submit your report. Once you’ve identified the light, select it and follow the prompts to submit your outage report. Fill in all the information on the form. Once complete, click “Done” in the top-right corner of the form.

Tip: Having the correct pole number helps our crews locate and repair the light faster.

How to Locate a Pole Number

What is a pole number?
A pole number is a unique identifier used to locate and maintain LED streetlights in your area.

Where can I find a pole number?
A pole number is typically located below the arm of the LED light, displayed on a black placard with yellow lettering.

How do I read a pole number?
Pole numbers usually begin with LS, LR, or LN, followed by a combination of four letters and numbers (for example in the image to the left: LS0RC9). Be sure to include the full code when reporting an issue.
