Energy Explorer: Grades K–5
Energy Explorers are curious learners discovering what energy is and how it powers the world around them. Through hands-on activities, experiments and interactive lessons, students begin building foundational knowledge about electricity, safety and the many ways energy impacts everyday life.
At this stage, learning is all about asking questions, making observations and sparking curiosity that can grow for years to come.

Energy Investigator: Grades 6–8
Energy Investigators are beginning to dig deeper – connecting ideas, testing concepts and exploring how science, technology and energy work together in the real world.
These students are developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills while gaining a greater understanding of innovation, efficiency and future career pathways.

Energy Innovator: Grades 9–12
Energy Innovators are applying what they’ve learned to real-world challenges. Through leadership opportunities, collaborative experiences and career-focused programs, students begin developing the confidence and creativity needed to shape the future.
These experiences encourage students to think bigger, solve problems and explore how they can make an impact in their schools, communities and beyond.

Energy Experts are preparing to turn knowledge into action. These students and young professionals are developing advanced technical skills, industry experience and leadership abilities that support Alabama’s growing workforce.
