Alabama U.S. Coast Guard station gives boater safety tips

U.S. Coast Guard stations across the country took part in National Safe Boating Week May 17-23, including Coast Guard Station Dauphin Island in Alabama.

The tips in this video featuring U.S. Coast Guard Seaman John Sykes, a junior boat crew member at Coast Guard Station Dauphin Island, are useful all summer long when many in the state are enjoying time on the lakes, rivers and Gulf waters.
