Birmingham Restaurant Week

Birmingham Restaurant Week (BRW) is underway through Saturday, July 26, with dozens of locally owned restaurants, bars, coffee shops, caterers, chefs and food trucks. For the first time, there will be a BRW art exhibit with artwork dedicated to Birmingham’s culinary scene. BRW will also host its Food Truck Pop-Up Park & Market on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at City Walk Bham. This year’s theme is Legacy of the Southern Table with featured artist Arden Upton. Upton has created a collection of paintings and photographs called Frank’s Table, a tribute to the delicious dishes created by Birmingham’s own Frank Stitt. The event gives patrons the opportunity to indulge in two-, three- and four-course meals at a prix fixe price. From fine dining to down-home cookin’, food and drink lovers with a taste for adventure can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner prix fixe menus ranging from $5 to $60. For updates, visit the website.
