
Based on the classic children’s book by L. Frank Baum, “The Wizard of Oz” tells the story of Dorothy, a young girl dreaming of adventure far away from her family farm, whose life suddenly changes when a tornado whisks her off to the magical land of Oz. The fun-filled musical for all ages features the score made famous by the 1939 MGM film. The production will take the stage July 9 through Aug. 17. Brad Williams is one of the funniest comedians in the country, and he has become one of the most in-demand working today. Williams started doing stand-up comedy as a teenager and has been routinely selling out venues across the country and world. The Blue Marlin Grand Championship (BMGC) at The Wharf in Orange Beach is unlike any other fishing tournament. Come early to enjoy industry-related vendors and try your hand at the St. Jude Fighting Chair Challenge — a real sportfishing fighting chair that is similar to “tug-o-war” against a friend. BMGC has raised more than $220,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
