MILD: Temperatures are in the 70s across Alabama this afternoon with a mostly sunny sky. Tonight will be fair and cool with lows mostly in the 40s.

Alabama’s weather will stay rain-free through the weekend with mostly sunny mild days and fair cool nights. Highs will be in the 70s, with lows in the 40s and 50s.

NEXT WEEK: Not real change through the first half of the week; highs remain in the 70s with a partly sunny sky. The chance of showers will be very small until Thursday night and Friday, when rain is likely ahead of an upper trough. Unfortunately for now it doesn’t look like a big rain event.

And, long-range data suggests temperatures will remain above average across the Deep South through Thanksgiving … See the video briefing for maps, graphics and more details.
