Peaches & Cream Chia Pudding is smooth, creamy and naturally sweetened with juicy peaches and maple syrup. What are chia seeds?

Chia seeds may be tiny, but they are filled with so many nutrients. Originally grown in Central and South America, these little seeds were a staple food for the Aztecs and Mayans. Today, they’re considered a “superfood” because of their dense nutrient profile. Just two tablespoons of chia seeds provide about 10 grams of fiber, 5 grams of protein and they are a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, which support heart and brain health.

When soaked in liquid, chia seeds expand and form a gel-like texture, which is what gives chia pudding its creamy, pudding-like consistency. This unique ability not only makes them versatile in recipes but also helps with satiety, keeping you fuller for longer.

Storage & meal prep tips

One of the best things about chia pudding is how easy it is to prepare and store for meal prep.

  • Refrigerator: Keep chia pudding in an airtight container or mason jars for up to 5 days. Perfect for making a batch on Sunday and having breakfast ready all week.
  • Freezer: Yes, you can freeze chia pudding. Store in single-serve portions for up to 1 month. Thaw overnight in the fridge before serving.

This makes it a convenient choice for back-to-school breakfasts, workday mornings or even a healthy snack.

Variations to try

Want to mix things up? Here are some fun ways to customize your chia pudding:

  • Peach cobbler chia pudding: Add crushed graham crackers or granola on top.
  • Protein boost: Stir in a scoop of vanilla protein powder before refrigerating.
  • Creamier option: Swap coconut milk for almond milk, soy milk or dairy milk.
  • Other fruits: Try it with strawberries, blueberries or mango for a fruity twist.
  • Chocolate lovers: Add 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder to the mix for a chocolate-peach combo.

Whether you’re enjoying it as a quick breakfast, after-school snack or light dessert, this chia pudding is one recipe you’ll want to keep on repeat. It’s loaded with fiber and protein to help keep you full, while the peaches add natural sweetness and a touch of summer flavor.
